I found this picture not too long ago, while scrolling on Instagram. It inspired me to challenge myself and tackle each section of the wheel; focusing on a different section every month. Not going in any particular order, but rather by which intentions I want to focus on first.
This month, creativity.
I dedicated January to creativity, mainly because I want to tap more into my creative side. I finally launched my blog in December, and apparently that was the easy part. I find myself now struggling to come up with interesting content, establishing a reader base, etc.
So, now is when I have to get creative. How do I make my blog stand out compared to the other millions of blogs? How do I discuss some common topics, but with my own twist? How do I establish a reader base? Basically, how do I take Black Girl Thoughts to the next level? I am passionate about writing + I want to make it my purpose. I don't want to continue writing new posts while I'm at my 9 to 5 job, I want my blog to be my 9 to 5! So, how do I do it? How exactly do I get inspired?
While I don't have the answers/solutions to all my questions yet, I am hoping to spend this month working towards them. I plan to get more in touch with myself + find out what exactly gets me inspired. What are some ways you tap into your creative side?
